The workshop is over.

On the workshop came fourteen participants from six different European countries (4 from Poland, 3 from Hungary, 2 from Latvia, Bulgaria and Portugal and one from Romania). These were 7 women and 7 men aged 24 to 35 years. Participants could try many types of outdoor and indoor activities and games. We didn´t forget to familiarize participants with the Czech Republic. Participants had the opportunity to visit organic farm, castle in the Cesky Krumlov and brewery. Everything worked out to our full satisfaction.

About the workshop / the story:

The participants form a group of candidates who applied for a competition in an international space crew inhabiting an unknown planet. The crew will experience long-term space travel and therefore the members of the team must create a functional, efficient team. Other candidates will be chosen for the operations center on land. Both teams must be able to communicate effectively and deal with the problems that may arise. The success of the control space center and the crew will depend on each member of the space mission.

 

Main objectives / program:

The vision of the workshop is to help participants to develop, realize and effectively use their eminence, knowledge, skills and talents. It is necessary to acquire principals of effective team work to be successful.

We will show you how to become supportive for others by finding support in yourself and how

it is possible to create a functional team out of people who are available for a given task.

The program consists of varied activities (manager activities, case studies, parlor games, extraordinary sports, art disciplines etc.). The varied activities are parts of one big game, which creates the whole story of the cosmic flight. Everyday schedule contains obligatory and voluntary activities as well as time to relax. Above that we will provide attractive sightseeing in Český Krumlov with a tour of the castle and much more.

 

Who can apply?

Citizens of countries which are involved in the  Lifelong Learning Programme .

Adults with intermediate to advanced English language skills, with craving to develop their own person. Preference: people who find team work important, flexibility, work with one’s potential abilities and their development. Sex and age do not affect decisions.

 

How many participants will attend the workshop?

The workshop is prepared for 14 participants from at least three countries.

 

Where will the workshop take place? 

The answer is the Czech Republic, the heart of Europe.

We´ll stay in a homely Guesthouse Mauritz located in a small village near the Lipno dam in South Bohemia. The Lipno dam is so far the biggest water surface in the Czech Republic. It´s also close to Český Krumlov, the district town in the valley of the river Vltava, Historic Town Reserve  the UNESCO List of the World Heritage Sites. You will love it!

The workshop activities will take place in the common room in the Guesthouse, in the countryside around and in nearby towns, we would like to show you nature as well as sights and Czech culture.

 

Who will be our lectures?

You will have two main lecturers Katka and Milan, who will stay with you in the Guesthouse all the time. We cooperate with this lecture team, because they are real professionals in this type of activities. They are both very friendly and helpful. Lectures profiles

 

How much the workshop costs?

There is no participation fee. Accommodation, food (breakfast, lunch, dinner), workshop activities and also travel costs are provided by the organizer.

Send the  application form  duly completed and signed by e-mail to workshop@attavena.cz.

If your candidature to this Workshop is accepted, we will return to you a signed copy of this form. Early application is recommended as the offer is limited.
